Reasons

Jeremiah gave the cup of God's wrath to Pharaoh and to the officials and people of Egypt.

KJV:  Egypt is like a very fair heifer, but destruction cometh; it cometh out of the north.

Timing

The Egyptian army and allies will be defeated on the Day of the Lord God (Yahveh) of Multitudes.

The King of Babylon's defeat of Egypt is a sure thing, declared by the God of the Multitudes.
