The daughters of Moab will be like fleeing birds.

Isaiah 16:2

The daughters of Moab will be like birds cast out of the nest.

Reasons

Moab should send male lambs to the Mountain of the daughter of Zion.

Israel’s extortioner is about gone, so Moab should provide refuge to extorted Israeli’s.

Israel’s devastation is almost completed, so Moab should provide refuge to Israeli’s.

Israeli oppression is concluding, so Moab should provide refuge to Israeli’s.

Moab is given one last brief opportunity to help Israeli people, but they refuse, bringing the wrath of God against them.
