Drinking Nazir and Silent Preachers!

God chose out the most elite among the young mature men of Israel to be nazir and prophets. Nazir were those who made a vow to God and could not let anything get in the way of fulfilling their vow, not even stopping for a fruit drink, or cutting their hair. They were to be steadfast in reaching their goal and then returning to the Temple to be purified and released from the vow.

Paul became nazir to obey God and go to Jerusalem again, probably for a feast day. Even though he was an apostle to the Gentiles, and hundreds of miles away, he made a vow to return and make a required feast. Others served God in this way, always seeking to obey God and vowing to perform His duty in some fashion.

Prophets, or better known today as Preachers, were also sent by God with a message to Israel, and told to make sure the Israelites heard. Often the best way to do that was to get up at one of the great feasts and repeat the message to the crowds that gathered at the Temple to sacrifice and listen to speeches.

The normal Jewish reaction was to make those that were nazir drink some kind of fruit drink, knowing that such violated their vow to God. In other words, they did not consider such zealous obedience to God as deserving respect. They belittled it and forcibly sought to undo the vow by disqualifying the person under obligation by a vow given by God.

Regarding the prophets, they would command they not speak for God, and that they just be quiet. Those that persisted were executed. Often God’s spokesman was just one against a thousand that spoke what people wanted to hear, and completely opposite what God wanted said.

God is going to put Israel through another holocaust because they refuse to follow His Word or His spokesmen. They completely reject His Son, Jesus, the Messiah.

The problem is, God focuses on Israel and their problems, and the reason He will continue to pummel them till they get things right. Where does that put the Gentiles? If God is really angry at what the Jewish people do to the men of God, what will He do with the Gentiles that are even worse when it comes to holy people?

The holy men of God today are either without work, in prison, or dead. They are not allowed to speak openly about the things God says. America was the last place on earth where Baptists fought to have a right to speak openly about God’s word, have the children of America taught God’s word and prayer and to freely worship God without restrictions. These hard fought for measures have been cancelled in the United States so that it can be like all other nations, the majority of which kill Christians in mass killings after using them as slaves of the state to perform inhuman work in deadly conditions.

Meanwhile, clowns and entertainers have taken over the function of holy men, saying only things that fill the coffers of self-serving luxury and immoral depravity. They have taken the holy atmosphere of solemn worship and hymn singing done in the homes of the devout and built huge warehouses for the seduction of humanity, and the extracting of wealth from even those that have nothing. They make promises that never are fulfilled and become apt at lulling a nation into a stupor as it falls into disaster and under God’s curse.

Which crowd do you support and identify with today? Is it the broad way to your own eternal destruction and punishment or the one that is only for the persecuted but heavenly focused individual?

These thoughts come from Amos 2:12

Elite Young Male Preachers

Again, we have the wording that points to the prophets (preachers) and nazarite (holy men) of Israel that God appointed as being the best there could be chosen. They were the elite, mature, well-rounded young men of Israel that where chosen to be spokesmen for God.

Why is it that every Gentile idiot and worthless bastard thinks they are God’s spokesmen today? Even women and children think they can speak for God. The fact is that only the very elite and respectable can be God’s chosen men for the job and it takes very little to become disqualified. One wayward child in the family and the pastor is sidelined. One misstep in reputation (whether earned or not) means automatic dismissal. God’s man has to be completely above reproach in all areas of his life at all times.

Ahab and Jezebel liked to pick the worthless vagrants to be priests for Baal, because they make great “spiritual” men. People like them, they have access to everything they want that is evil and it is all condoned as being “spiritual.”

Frankly such people as leaders makes a mockery of God and holy living. People love the drunkard as a leader because they are clowns and permit any kind of evil vice thinkable. But!!! God never chose them nor are they of the elite among young mature males.

What makes the situation even worse is these scoundrels are the ones that have honored positions in the seminaries that train the worthless among society to be church leaders! When was the last time you met a truly holy person who worked as a professor of theology, Bible, pastoral ministries, counseling, or anything else? Get to know them and they are the most worldly among men. Follow their lifestyle when away from home and one would wonder how such a person (women are wrongfully honored there too) could claim to be a Christian, let alone a spiritual leader.

It seems every vicious murder in prison believes they are called to be evangelists and pastors simply because they were not executed for their crimes! If they get out, they often become well-honored in religious circles! So very sad.

If we allow the church to get away with having known criminals, pedophiles, pornographers, alcohol users, and immoral and even female leaders, how do we expect to have anything less as politicians? People want entertainers and not holy people who confront their tastes for evil. They choose churches based on how they feel when there, and they choose officials based on how the candidate makes them feel. Stores are chosen, not because of quality, but because of quantity and glitz.

Take a look at the Prophecy Guide to see what God says about how His representatives are chosen: Amos 2:11 in the Prophecy Guide.
