International Trade

Apr

The United States has been hammering out Free Trade Agreements with all the nations of the world for many years. It does not matter what presidential administration is in power, the same work goes on under Democratic or Republican presidents and gets ratified in the Senate by majorities. Each time a Trade Agreement has passed, there has been severe cuts in American jobs and benefits.

While the few that know about the agreements say they boost the American economy and provide jobs, the opposite has in fact happened each time. While fat cats in politics and international corporations get fatter, the results for the average American citizen is never good. The agreements guarantee the American people will be stuck buying goods that do not meet up to American standards and large numbers of jobs will move to foreign lands.

The Bible consistently has a term for these arrangements. It is called political prostitution. It is never called anything else. There is no other way to describe it, other than harlotry. The American dream used to be autonomy. Presidents and Congress people would promise to make the United States independent of foreign goods and supplies. That promise is no longer even mentioned. Politicians today are hell-bent to prostitute our country, and don’t even lie about it to be elected!

What is wrong with international trade? People pay in two countries for the desires of a few people to get filthy rich for doing nothing. Just like a pimp beats, tortures, and abuses his prostitutes, these politicians and corporation owners do the same to the common worker. They force people to make goods for a nation they hate, and they force production for little or no reasonable wage.

Do we need these trade agreements? The answer is a loud No! The only time these agreements are needed is when a product is not worth exporting or importing. When America was a God-fearing country, they built the best wagons in the world and every nation sought after American carriages and wagons. They were tough, stylish, and inexpensive, even after paying shipping costs. There was no real prostitution, because the Americans were earning good wages and the foreigners were paying in gold backed currency. Things were on a level playing field.

But things can go wrong. Politicians will use good things happening to try to tap into the revenue stream to rob the worker to give to the destroyers and wasters. They will use government to regulate and destroy anything done in free enterprise to bring it under socialist-communist controls. So, a loyal good relationship that extends to foreign lands by a person in America, will be seized at to turn it into a prostitution arrangement headed up by pimps and politicians for the “common good” which is just the cover for gangster government.

Violin Audio Files Working Again….

Well! We were surprised to see the audio player was no longer working when we visited the Violin solo page! So it took a while to pick a new audio player, but we think we have one that should work in almost any browser!

We are sorry the sound files blanked out and hope it is not a problem to any of you! Give things another try and hopefully you will not be disappointed!

The page is: Classic Violin Hymn Arrangements

Also a note! My mother used to have beginning students just do the first verse of her arrangements. Then intermediate students would work on adding the second verse and advanced students would add the third verse. So don’t think that just because you cannot play through the whole arrangement you can’t use it! A lot of students never get past the easiest first verses!

Also she had certain pieces to begin with and other pieces once things were going better.  There is a whole range of hymns to check into.

If the student feels the one verse is too short, then she would have them play through it twice.

She always believed that less was more. So, going through a hymn twice was more than most will politely sit through, unless things were building and becoming more interesting. Many students fail to hold the interest of an audience when they try to play too long and too much, until they become very skillful.

The Last Violin and Piano duets

We are getting to the last of the violin and piano duet music that we can find! We’ve now pulled out all the stops to clear the finish line! Here is today’s work:

Jesus Shall Reign. This piece was written by Cheryl Macomber and has a very simple piano part. Coupling the simplicity of the piano with the beauty and tension of the strings of the violin produces a very comforting and assuring statement that Jesus Shall Reign on this earth!

The cover is a photo of a meadow on Mount Carmel and inside the cover is a review of the things that happened on Mt. Carmel in Scripture. Click on the hymn title at the beginning of the paragraph before this one and take a look and listen to the piece! It is a wonderful hymn with a beautiful arrangement.

My Saviour’s Love. This cover is made from a photo of Caesarea Philippi and a river there. A short description is given of the mention in Scripture. The music is a powerful arrangement that carefully notices the words and makes the message of the hymn a very poignant statement. We are so happy that this musical score is now available with the robot’s playing of it!

His Eye Is on the Sparrow

It is with great joy we announce that the editing is now finished on this wonderful piece of music! It took a bit to get the scores set up again, and even longer to get the sound file ready, but it is finally done!

Deborah Macomber handled keying in the score, and had quite a time getting things set up. Clinton handled the editing of the score and refining of several areas and then the merging of the scores. Cheryl and Deborah joined him in helping adjust the sound elements so that the audio and score would reflect how they play it. So after a great bit of behind the scenes toda, we have the piece ready!

So are you ready to hear it? Well there are a few more things to say first!

We have to mention the cover! It is a photo of the gate to the old city of Jerusalem. Inside the cover is an article about the significance of the common sparrow. Both are done in a very professional and beautiful manner.

So are you ready to see and hear it? Well there is more….

The music is incredible and quite difficult. The violinist should not be a beginner nor should the pianist! But the musical arrangement brings out the best of both the violin and the piano, and together make a wonderfully uplifting and sweet sound. This is music at its best! If you have not heard the family play this piece, you have got to give it a try to hear it!

So now are you ready to enjoy it and lift your spirit heavenward? Well, there is more! We need a huge bucket of money! If you could just…. Oh, I forgot, this is a free offer! So much for paying bills! Frankly there is nothing on earth that could pay for such good music and make it a fair trade.

To hear the robot play the music and see the score, use the following link:
