Christian Accountability

  1. Christians do not face condemnation if they are in Christ Jesus and walk after the Spirit, Romans 8:1
  2. Christians are not to live for themselves, but instead live to the Lord, Romans 14:7-8
  3. Christians are judged on how they affected others, Romans 14:10
  4. Our works will be revealed by fire, and what remains we receive appropriate reward, I Corinthians 3:12-14
  5. A Christian does not have to fear loosing salvation over a wasted life, but is saved only from fire, I Corinthians 3:15
  6. While things may be legal to do, they are not expedient to the Christian, I Corinthians 6:12
  7. A Christian must keep his body under control lest it cause the casting off of the message bearer, I Corinthians 9:27
  8. Not all legal things are edifying to others, I Corinthians 10:23
  9. All Christians must appear before the Judgment Seat of Christ, to receive recompense for what was done in the body, II Corinthians 5:10
  10. The believer gives account of himself before he rules and reigns with Christ, Revelation 5:10; 20:4-6
